Our Story

Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) aims to be the preferred provider of accessible specialized health services in Africa.

As a healthcare social enterprise and through development programs, CCBRT serves the community, focusing on the most vulnerable.

Committed to preventing lifelong disabilities whenever possible, CCBRT is actively engaged in maternal and newborn healthcare (MNHC) initiatives, including obstetric fistula repairs.

Since 2005, our “House of Hope” in Moshi has provided both community and center-based rehabilitation services, promoting inclusive development at all levels.

We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Medical Attendant to support our clinical team at the rehabilitation center in Moshi.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Medical Attendant, you will assist healthcare providers at CCBRT Moshi and provide client support under supervision. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing the clinical working area and ensuring all necessary tools are available and in good condition.
• Transporting clients, equipment, and supplies between units to optimize patient flow.
• Providing health education to clients and their guardians.
• Managing visiting hours and coordinating with client relatives to ensure patient safety and well-being.

The Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• Education: Form 4 certificate plus one-year basic nursing training or a certificate in social welfare from a government-recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of working experience.
• Key Skills:
  • Flexibility and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Swahili.
  • Proactive attitude and eagerness to work.
  • Basic computer skills.
